Many projects by Aqua-Terra Nova focus on sustainability. Hereby, employees have a daily conscience and awareness of social responsibility. The organisation strives for sustainability. Examples of corporate social responsibility are:

• Every employee has global access to the corporate computer network and is equipped with a company smart phone. Company meetings are regularly done by 'voice over IP'. These facilities shorten the use of car kilometres significantly;
• Office materials are recycled and centrally collected separately, this has positive effect on the company waste footprint;
• in the design and construct of our office, sustainability has been a central aspect. The 'Hooghe  Landhuys' is equiped with a geothermal heat pump and all lights are operated on motion sensors.

In many projects sustainability is a key factor. In our ecological, environmental and urban and rural planning projects sustainability come naturally. Our innovative water projects are even unique in their aspect towards sustainability in which governmental parties follow our projects with great interest and many projects can rely on funding for sustainability. For it's international activities in South-Africa, Aqua-Terra Nova has signed the OESO guidelines.
